As a Mindfulness Educator & Coach Alicia has been providing education and training for children, families, and educators alike. Alongside the mindfulness training, Alicia also creates handcrafted intention Mala necklaces and bracelets for those looking to live mindfully.

Alicia didn’t set out to be a holistic practitioner. Instead, she went to University and studied sociology, philosophy, psychology and women’s studies courses. Following up with diplomas in the Developmental Services Worker Field and Autism/Behaviour Science, she worked as an Educational Assistant in the education system for 12 years.

Her turning point came after being diagnosed with PPD shortly after the birth of her second child.  This, coupled with a long and exhausting recovery after lower back surgery lead her down a path of depression, and anxiety. She found the light again through Reiki, Yoga, Reflexology, and Malas as a mindfulness tool. Her life changed through these holistic approaches and was able to find balance, good health and happiness again.

Today Alicia is a proud Mama of two and resides in the countryside of Southeastern, Ontario, with her husband,  children and golden doodle, Charlie.  She loves nature, yoga, hiking, and traveling the world.  She believes self-love is the best love we can give ourselves.

She is currently studying to become a certified Kids Yoga Instructor, A Course in Miracles and expanding her knowledge via Maria Forleo’s B-School.
